Why Advertise When You Can't Supply

After struggling to get hold of the MTN branch in Bethal to find out if they had the phone I wanted(Sony XA2 ultra), I had to go in to the branch itself, then when I was helped I was told that they would order the phone as they did not have in stock and they would call me to let me know when it would arrive. A few days later, still waiting for the call I went in to the branch again and was told that the stock availability is low for the specific phone, so I looked at something else and decided on the Nokia 7 plus which I was told would be easier to get, they would order it on Monday I was told, it is Friday now and again, struggling to get hold of them over the phone, they finally answered amd said they would follow up in Nokia, they did not receive the XA2 either. I called another branch, Standerton, and they said it would take two weeks to get the Nokia. I mean, why advertise something if you can't supply it? If I wanted a phone in 2 weeks time I would've gone to get it 2 weeks later, when I want something, I want it when I want it, not when I've already forgotten about the damn thing. This is just pathetic service and unreliable staff from MTN
