Whatever you do don't insure your device with MTN

In January 2020, I choose not to take insurance with my mobile and I called the MYT number for insurance (Guard Risk) and cancelled my insurance. At the time I was assured by the consultant that it was cancelled. Now in May 2020 all of sudden MTN is charging me for mobile insurance despite the fact that I have cancelled it in January 2020. Then I called the MTN Insurance department again and cancelled the insurance once again and escaled the matter with three different consultants. I even received an SMS to say that it was cancelled. Yet, despite all my efforts I have been once again debited a fee for MTN Insurance in June 2020.

I used to praise MTN as a service provider but now I will make sure everyone I speak to about MTN will walk away never wanting to use the service provider ever again.
