Welcome, you have joined IPlayBits
Have never subscribed to any premium services - got an SMS out of the blue this morning - "Welcome, you have joined IPlayBits at R7.00/day, +Info https://goo.gl.JZTL1P or call ********** . To cancel send STOP to 31303."
According to https://mybroadband.co.za/news/cellular/223556-how-to-make-sure-you-never-get-ripped-off-by-a-wasp.html "In order for WASPs to subscribe customers to their services, MTN ensures that this must happen via a double opt-in, which is via a system called Token Based Billing"
Please provide evidence of me double-opting-in - I never subscribed to any such service.
You are allowing WASPs to ***** from subscribers on your network; please refund airtime charged.

05 Feb 2018, 09:16good day Alice,
Thanks for confirming the content provider is Mira Networks. I have already used *141*5# to remove the content provider.
However
1. Dialling *141*5# I do not see the option to block content service providers. I have removed content providers after they added themselves - but please verify where I can block content providers from adding themselves.
2. websites https://mybroadband.co.za/news/cellular/93335-cell-c-mtn-double-opt-in-on-sms-services.html, https://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/581159-Cell-C-MTN-double-opt-in-on-SMS-services, https://mybroadband.co.za/news/cellular/93471-double-opt-in-subscriptions-welcome-waspa.html, https://mybroadband.co.za/news/cellular/93335-cell-c-mtn-double-opt-in-on-sms-services.html (going back to 2013) reference a "double opt-in" system that MTN has implemented. Why was I not engaged as part of the double opt-in system before I was billed by the content provider.
In summary - please clarify the points above
1 - how to block
2 - why was the double-opt-in system not activated
