Welcome to the Dark Side.

Late yesterday while traveling on business I receive notification that I have reached my usage limit and need to reset it, I try that only to find out I am at my limit, I call the call center, I am told that my credit limit has been reached and that this can only be changed during business hours. The problem here is that my credit limit keeps getting reset to a low amount then when I do travel on business I reach my usage limit and cannot increase it, I am not the one resetting my credit limit MTN seem to do this on their own, so I have zero airtime left, traveling a long way from home and the MTN consultant could not care at all, simply call back in the morning, you are the client and we do not care, welcome to the dark side. I have tried this morning but after holding for the credit department for over 20 minutes I had to cut the call and continue my meetings, high call volumes are a dead certain indicator of how useless your organization actually is, instead of catchy slogans rather see if you can retain your clients.

Never had a call from anyone at MTN, I have spent over two hours getting airtime this morning, the only part that was resolved with one phone call was increasing my credit limit, thereafter it took three calls to get my usage limit increased even though I was told on the first two occasions that this was done, it then took two calls to get my airtime increased as the mobile platform was unavailable and the consultants were nothing short of useless, if I had not insisted and got really aggressive with the last consultant it would have been a case of goodbye client we at MTN are too busy to assist. I was told by him that there is nothing he can do and that I must increase this via the App, only after I threats and continually asking to talk to a supervisor or manager was this person miraculously able to increase my airtime even after he told me I would have to call head office to talk to a manager as there was nothing he could do. Responding with the garbage above does not mean you have solved the problem, MTN is a joke of a company, one that I will be leaving shortly.
