It is such an embarrassment that MTN does nothing to protect their customers or let alone help them when they are in need. I am sitting here with mobile subscription services that are deducting airtime on a daily basis and I don’t know where they coming from because I have never subscribed to any. I have made numerous calls to the contact centre asking for help and none of them are helpful. Worse, today I made another call and the agent(Reference No: ********** 95) told me that I have a service that has been deducting R6 per day since February 2016 and another one deducting R2 per day since 11 February 2017. This is a clear example that my previous appeals were merely being ignored, but MTN still demanded for my monthly contract payments. Can you calculate how much money I have lost thus far? Who is going to recompense that? I have used all your USSD codes(*141*5# and *136#) but they all read: “You are currently not subscribed to any content services” but when I call the contact centre, I hear a different tune. I am on the verge of changing SPs, so please investigate this and give me feedback.

You may use the following USSD code to block the content service providers: *141* 5 # select option written content billing.
Kindly be advised that any services used on the sim card will be charged to the account, content services is not a MTN service and from our side we cannot activate this, content service can only be activated by the user of the handset. MTN do not credit the account for any content charges.
Content charges are when you download information from your Internet commercial adverti*****t to your handset.
Please note we cannot assist you with the break down for the content charges because this is not a MTN service and we do not work on outside company systems.
We have sent the request to the content providers AIRG 100 Subscription and GAMELOFT to remove this from their systems. Your ***.
Please contact the content provider for further assistance, ***.

*141* 5 # does not work for me. Is it working for you? "Please note we cannot assist you with the break down for the content charges because this is not a MTN service and we do not work on outside company systems". Is it not your job to block these malicious services internally when I request that they be removed from my profile? Then why must it take you years to remove them?
