warranty invalid
I purchased a blackberry 9720 at Edgars, Chatsworth in February 2014. The phone stopped charging in May 2015. I sent it to edgars on the 11/5/2015. MTN sent me a bill for an assessment charge of R330 which I paid in. I was called in to pick up the phone on the 15/6/2015. The report sheet said that the projected repair cost would be R5400. To replace the handset would be R1885.14. I paid R2499.90. I did not tamper with the phone so how does the warranty become invalidated. The report sheet says there's no physical damage but the technical assessment report says its beyond \economical repair". As a consumer if there was no physical damage"
