warranty claim disaster
I Booked my new phone in for warranty claim. Filed in mtn technical fault report form supp**** by jet 26/02/2015. I wait 4 weeks advised. Go in to Jet after 4 weeks. No phone. 6 wks. No phone. Jet try calling mtn. Nothing from mtn. Strike ya!!! I phone mtn19/05 and get told by mtn they would phone me back within 48 hours. nothing .try phoning again. nothing.... .finally get first SMS from mtn saying it costs R 330 to fix. I try phoning. no answer. finally get through on the 27th of JULY. get told by very unfriendly staff that I had rejected the repair quote for R1200 (news to me) . Brand new the phone is R 500. I must pay R330 repair rejection fee. Sir it's on the form you signed. I go find the form. Nothing on form about R 330. phone back. Sir that was the wrong form...... pay R 330. managers refuse to speak to me. staff interrupt when talking. please just send back my phone. It's still under warranty!

All our handsets go through full Quality assurance tests before being issued out to clients. For as long as your handset complies with all warranty guidelines, our HVRC will be happy to assist with all the repair issues you might be having or replace it depending on the nature of repair/fault.
There is a quote rejection fee of R330.00 incl. vat applicable when the repair quotation is rejected by client or the quote has expired. This is a standard business rule.
