Warranty Assessment Nightmare

Upgraded my MTN contract 19/08/18 at Shop 101, Canal Walk Shopping Centre, Western Cape. 30/08/18, I returned my new cellphone to this same shop as I was experiencing problems with the phone - nobody was able to hear me. MTN staffer that I dealt with at this store tried to fob me off with silly reasons as to why I was experiencing this problem - one of his reasons was that I was holding the phone incorrectly!!! Eventually this MTN staffer told me that I needed to take my phone to the MTN outlet just outside of Canal Walk - at Century City Boulevard. This I did. Staff at Century City MTN Repair confirmed that the phone needed to be booked in for a warranty assessment as it appeared that the microphone was problematic. Phone booked in 31/08/18. Two weeks later I contacted this branch and spoke to Leroy only to hear that my phone had not even been looked at yet. Leroy said that he would try and escalate the complaint. 3 Weeks into the issue, I complained on Hellopeter - then got a call from MTN (Canal Walk - not sure which branch) wanting to know which branch at Canal Walk handled my complaint and more so, wanting to know why the Canal Walk MTN branch had sent me to the Century City branch! Honestly - not my problem! Not my circus!! Then got a call to tell me to collect my phone from Century City branch and was informed that there was nothing wrong with my phone! Went to collect and when we (MTN Staff and I) tested the phone - the problem still existed! Phone was then again booked into for repair / warranty assessment - 2nd time! Two weeks later I go to the Century City branch to enquire about my phone because phone calls to the branch are not answered - lo and behold, the branch is closed for renovations. Notice on the door says to go to shop 101 at Canal Walk. So off to shop 101 at Canal Walk I go. Speak to Marius (who it turns out is actually from Century City branch) and he assures me that he will see that my issue is dealt with and that he will personally contact me! 2 Weeks later and I get an sms to collect my phone from Century City. Mistakenly we go to Canal Walk shop 101 on Saturday 27 Oct 2018, and get told that the phone is actually at Century City MTN, which is closed on a Saturday afternoon. Sunday 28/10/18 I go to Century City MTN to collect my phone - and No - the problem still exists - the phone has not been fixed!!! 8 Weeks without my New Cellphone that I was supposed to receive with my contract renewal! But Hey MTN - You are receiving you monthly debit orders!!! Not that you care!! Phone has been booked in for it's 3rd repair today!!! I have had my new phone for like 11 days and you have had it for more that 8 weeks!!! Have been told that a Manager will contact us tomorrow Monday 29 Oct 2018! Lets see!!!!!
