Warrantee
I submitted my Tablet for repairs. I'm in a 24years contract. I have submitted it 2 times in the past for the same problem. I got an message last week that I must pay 330 for my TAB to be returned but its not fixed. So far I don't see any solution. the tab have 24 months warrantee and if MTN cannot fix it what the? do I just continue paying for something which is not working? I would like a report from MTN in writing saying that my tab cannot be fixed and there is nothing they can do about it so that I can forward it to the National Consumer Tribunal for their perusal of the report to see if it is fair or not.

We've managed to locate your booking (Job Card ***).
The final comments on the booking from the technician who worked on the device was that he discovered unauthorized repairs. There were *****s missing and this then voids the warranty and the device is deemed Beyond Economical Repair (BER).
The amount of R330.00 is a mandatory charge as per the Technical Fault Repair document you've signed. This is for the the technician physically working on and assessing the device.
