VML Lite suddenly on 2 contract phones

Have several contracts for more than 20 years. Suddenly on 2 phones on contract we have No longer normal message, which is active BUT voicemail VML Lite. Phoned 4 times over period of 20 days. Get references BUT nothing has been done to fix. Loosing business and told them so.
