VICTIM OF MTN *****

I am highly frustrated and disgusted at MTN and the manner in which they deal their business. I received an Invoice on 31 October 2017 indicating that I owe MTN an amount of R2023.50 and the very next day my bank account was debited with that full amount. I DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT WITH MTN AND WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I called the Customer Service number on ********** 000 on 01 November 2017 @ 7h48am and was told that I had opened 3 MIN contracts on the 27th of September 2017 hence I was billed. This was a total shock to me and advised the Consultant that this is not correct. She requested me to go to the Police Station, get an affidavit and call them back. I got an affidavit and called them back @ 8h37am. The Consultant then requested I email her the documents which she confirmed receipt of. (***** REF : 1- ********** 4254). I called yesterday (06 November 2017) @ 13h40pm to follow up and I was told that 'SOMEONE' will contact me shortly which never happened! I then called again today twice (07 November 2017) @ 9h38am and 9h47am held on for the ***** Department listening to their music and was cut off on both occassions. This is ridiculous and absolutely frustrating!!! Firstly, MTN is definitely NOT A SAFE SERVICE PROVIDER to do business with. An individual is placed at RISK when dealing with MTN. The application that was done was on 27 September 2017 was an online application...How does MTN deliver 3 devices without obtaining the person's original documents??? Since it was brand new contracts how did MTN verify the ID, Pay slip and Proof of Residence??? So this can ONLY be INTERNAL??? What was the delivery address of these devices??? Did it correspond with the Proof of Address you obtained?? As per RICA legislation, MTN is compelled by LAW to request for the customer's ORIGINAL ID AND PROOF OF RESIDENCE!! Secondly, due to MTN's negligence, it is costing me time and money to have this sorted out! I had to take time off work, drive to the Police Station and get an affidavit... waste my money on calls to report MTN'S NEGLIGENCE and try to get feedback. Common courteousy or a little bit of Customer Service would go a long way. At least inform me that you have received my request and actually investigating the ***** case and more so keep me informed as to what is actually going on. The silence from MTN says a lot!! As long as you have banked my money, you don't give a damn on how u got It??? I WANT MY MONEY THAT WAS DEBITED OFF MY ACCOUNT REFUNDED TODAY AND I WANT THOSE 3 CONTRACTS THAT WERE **********LY OPENED ON MY NAME TO BE CLOSED TODAY AS WELL AS REIMBURSED FOR MY TIME AND MONEY WASTED ON THIS MATTER. I WILL BE TAKING THIS TO THE MEDIA. YOU ARE PLACING PEOPLE OUT THERE BY NOT COMPLYING WITH LEGISLATION AND ASSISTING THE ******** MARKET TO GROW AT A VERY RAPID PACE.
