Very poor customer services

I app**** for an MTN WIFI Router with MTN Direct over the phone and I was assisted by Mr Johannes from Gauteng MTN Direct. My application was successful and the WIFI Router was delivered at work on 6 May 2019. To my surprise the wrong router was delivered. So I immediately called MTN to inform them that they delivered the wrong router. I was then advised that I must take router back to one of the MTN stores, (where the router can be collected from the store and be delivered to MTN warehouse). I then immediately cancelled my contract on the router. I took the router to MTN Mall of Africa. I received an email from the store on 9 May 2019 indicating that the device has been collected from the store and that it would be delivered to the warehouse.

I tried several times to contact Mr Johannes from MTN Direct and his colleagues mentioned that they would pass the message and ask him to call me back. Without any luck he never called me back. I was informed that contract was cancelled. However on 15 June 2019 and R 15 July 2019, I was debited R 838,00 and R 725,00 respectively. My normal debit order for two devices that I had already with MTN is R 455,00 before I app**** for the WIFI router. I cancelled my contract on the router on 6 May 2019 but however I was debited additional amounts of R 383,00 and R 270,00 in June and July respectively for a router that I don’t even have in my possession. So on 16 July 2019, I reversed the debit order of R 725,00 for July because I am sick and tired of paying extra. Now I have to incur extra bank charges because of MTN. It is not fair for any customer to experience this very bad customer service. So I wrote this review because MTN has not assisted me at all. I called MTN so many times and I advised by the consultants that the contract was cancelled. The service is very bad.
