VERY BAD MTN SERVICE

I have a contract with MTN Service Provider, several contracts for for that matter, for me, my mother and for my 2 daughters. I took insuranse with them for the 2 Girls too.

I booked a phone for repairs on the 23rd October 2016. Today I don't have the phone still. I am paying for that phone with no fail for 2months now because if I don't I will be blacklisted, because these Contracts only cover the "BIG Companies not the poor consumers like me".

December I have spent most of my time on the phone trying to get hold of whoever can help me at MTN to resolve this matter with no success. Today .....I mean today (06 January 2016) I phoned MTN HVRC and they told me my phone was sent to Monitor Insurance, which is the new insurance company for MTN.

I called Monitor Insurance and they told me my phone has been repaired but they will not release it to me as they don't have proof of payment for access (Which was sent to MTN on the 26 November 2016 at 11:32 am by the way and the receipt was acknowledged) and they also don't have the form that the phone was booked with (this surprises me though , how do they know if its my phone if there is no documentation with it ?)

The Manager (Sharon) at Monitor Insurance stated that they have been requesting this information from MTN with no success no one can help them because the Old MTN Insurance Team does not exist anymore. I asked whom has she been requesting information from then, she told me I don't need to know that ..........Its different people from different department and they are on Leave.

This is my feeling :- MTN has breached the Contract. I am paying and they are not delivering as promised. So I have cancelled all the other contracts except the one in question and I have been charged penalties for them and I paid. I have also cancelled the insurance, why pay for insurance if they have been keeping the phone for the past 2 months ?

I also want to cancell the contract in question and I don't want to pay penalty for that as I have hornoured my side of they contract and they did not ..........How do I go about it ?
