Utterly disappointing in the service and the way my case is being handled currently.

I am so disapointed in MTN SA I do not even know where to start to explain to you the depth. Here is in short what happend:

I have been a client of MTN SA now for as long as I can remember, there have always been an issue here and there but we have been able to come to an understanding.

The latest issue I just see as the worst service and such **************** that I am so deeply saddend.

It started when I walked into the MTN Centurion shop requesting that my data line on my contract (that where running individually from my cellphone number) to be cancled and that the simcard gets blocked (so that it can't be used anymore) seeing as that I do not have any signal at my new home and cant use the data line no more.

I have explained to the MTN assistant Lindi Zwae on 4 November 2016 that I wish to stop my data line and that I would like MTN to block that simcard seeing as I am no longer going to be using it anymore.

Lindi explained to me that the contract will not be cancled with imediate effect as she needs to send the request in to MTN SA for it to be done and that the process can take a couple of days. This was when I explained to her that she then needs to block the simcard to stop any further use as I had a builders at the house whom have access to the whole house.

She handed me the document of the cancelation of the contract which I signed and she confirmed that she will send in the request for the cancelation and that my data simcard was blocked.

I left the MTN Store pleased with the service that I received...ONLY to find out in December 2016 while I was on holiday that someone stole the simcard and have been using it to make international calls , the sneak ***** have run up an bill of over the R4000-00 which MTN are holding me responsible as they say that the simcard was in my posession...

I have explained and spoken to so many mtn consulants, explaining my situation, sitting through the never ending call waiting times whenyou call the MTN service centre and my cellphone contract have been suspended so many times as MTN refuse to admit that it is due to a fault on their side at the consultant who assisted me in the first place as she failed to cancle as well as block my simcard as she assured me that was done...that this simcard was even able to be used...

I am so dissapointed in this huge final let down by this service provider that I would really like them to remove the R4000-00 plus bill from my name that was so wrongfully added and which have caused me as a woman with out any celphone and whom have to drive around Gauteng by herself and cant even call my husband when my car tyer bust next to the N1 etc...

I would also like for them to cancle my current mobile contract with them as this was such a huge let down in service that I would rather take my business elsewhere and move my number to a different service provider...

It really saddens me that this came to this after the endless years that i have been a loyal client of theirs but this **************** JUST can't take anymore.

I have tried to come to agreement with them on numerous occations of which where:

4 November - initial request to cancle data line and block data simcard. - person assisting Lindi Zwane

9 December - Disputing the huge bill and ordering the contract to be cancled and the sim to be blocked - person assisting Paulina Dikgale

21 December - Query the payment which MTN still have not allocated to my account from May 2016 -

16 January - Disputing the huge bill again and asking for this to get sorted, I requested an email address or contact details for me to beable to send through proof that I requested the cancelation on 4 November along with the blocking of the simcard - person assisting Mukani Dube

17 January - disputing the bill again and requesting feedback on the progress of the case al well as requesting the contact details again to beable to send the proofs - person assisting Ntombi Zethu with credit person - Tlotlo sefolo

18 January - I spoke to them again but they made no action at all to help me

19 January - I spoke to them again but they did not give me contact details nor assistance with my problem.

The latest REQ - **********

Words can't explain how helpless I feel with this crime.
