Useless timewasters MTN

My account has been suspended and after 8 calls, everytime speaking to a different consultant and each one saying that the suspension is lifted, I am told that the system cannot be overridden and I must wait 2 to 24 hours for the system to lift the suspension. What type of system cannot be overridden in the case of an emergency? MTN are so useless. I cannot wait for my contracts to be done so I can cancel.
