Useless Service at MTN

When handing in my phone for repairs I was informed that the process would take two weeks, now two weeks later I have gone into the store only to be told that no quote has been made and that I must come back in a weeks time.
Obviously this was unacceptable so i attempted to escalate the problem only to be told that the Supervisor was out and that they would call the call center.
Once the Call Center answered I was handed a phone to talk to someone who not only informed me that the store employee should have been dealing with this and that they have 'the same system as the call center' but also that a quote had been made which meant that the person I was speaking to either didn't know how to do their job or was lying to me.
After all of this I was then told that my phone repairs would only start next week Monday, almost 3 weeks after handing in my phone, due to stock take and that they could not give me any indication of when the repairs would be completed. None of this was at any point communicated to me and I have yet to receive any notifications at all about any progress, the quote offered or my acceptance of said quote.
The service I have received has been simply unacceptable .

Hello RyanYoung,

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it has caused.

Kindly be advised that the system shows that the quote was accepted. The phone repairs will start on Monday due to stock take being done by the HVRC department.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards,
Ayanda
