Useless service!
On 29 March we took a Sony phone for the 4th time to MTN Modimolle. In the past the phone lost contacts, could not send/receive SMS's and froze. MTN tried to 'fix' it but it just lasted for a day or was worse.
Taking it in for repairs on the 29th Ellen told us that she is not representing MTN and just tells us what MTN tells her to say. She had a very aggressive and negative attitude.
They told us to bring the phone back so they can send it for repairs but Ellen's attitude was disgusting.. It was such and effort to assist and she kept on telling us that if there is liquid damage it will be an issue (although the phone is insured) and she cannot understand why we complain because it was a 'freebee'....
According to the insurance on this phone we should: *Receive a loan phone -
*The phone should be collected at our door and delivered at our door and all damage should be covered.
Obviously the people at your Modimolle branch are uninformed or not interested.
We phoned MTN CS on the 30th to complain and was told it will take 3 days to get a response. Its now more than a week. The insurance dept also has not responded to us about the service. This is really shocking!
