Useless
<p>Last week i called MTN asking to upgrade early AND to pay the rest of the outstanding monthly payments if upgrading early is not a possibility. After calling their useless callcenter i was told that i should go to the MTN store at The Grove Mall. Store assistant told me that this is not possible and that i should call MTN direct which told me to go to an MTN store and not a franchise. Upon arrival and waiting for hours i was again told that they cannot help me even if i want to pay upfront for the remainder of months. I feel that the staff are *********** as all they know how to say is "I DONT KNOW". I also asked the staff at Menlyn to assist with a settlement amount which amounts to R1300 yet my installement is R229 per month and there are only 6 months left. Why am i being charged for subsription if i want to cancel? </p>

Please see the formula how early termination fee is worked out:

Estimated amount payable = R1229.74

Your term date has been amended to 2016-08-10, you may visits any MTN dealership to assist you with the upgrade or calling MTN Direct to assist you online ***.
