Used old products being sold as brand new

I received a brand new leptop from mtn that is extremely slow, takes 17 minutes to be exact in order to start, does not open any apps and has terrible malfunctions I reported it within the 10 day period yet I was told to go to the nearest mtn store, I drive 1 hour 45 minutes to get to one as we don't have an mtn store in the town I live and the mtn store told me that I have to phone mtn I can not just come to a store so that was a waste, 2 months has gone by and my brand new laptop that i am paying for which doesn't work is just lying here with no one to help from mtn they are selling things that are old and does not work as brand new and expect us to use it, I mean it's brand new how can it be so slow and not work? I have not even used it as it does not allow me to use it but 2 months have past and I have not gotten any help. Mtn is extremely fast in getting you to open up new contracts with them but for 2 months I am sitting here calling and going back and forth yet I got no help but a dumb online computerized log in fault.
