Usage limits... Again.!!

I suppose it is my own fault not canceling the contract a year ago when they did the exact same thing.

After the exact same thing a year ago, I am again expected to pay for out of bundle data which should have been possible. it almost seems as if MTN has timer set where they annually ***** you. There is so much wrong here that I do not even know where start.

Unbelievable... After spending way to much time on the phone without success, I eventually opt to send an email to ask that they cancel the contract. I received an email back stating that I have to phone the exact contact-center where I could not get service in the first place..?!

I eventually thought I'd give the client-non-care center another call... Eventually after 9 minutes I got to Gertrude... She explained to me that the Autopage contracts had a billing limit but when MTN took it over they could not (or would not) apply their usage limit in the same way. So effectively MTN could not honour a part of the contract I signed with Autopage and still they only shrug their shoulders and tel you to pay up. To add injury to insult she now offered me the new "grand" contract which will have a usage limit as I was used to but for this to work I have to upgrade..!?! (As it is I got a much sweeter deal with Cell C) To make it even worse they tell me that they cannot cancel this contract immediately... even though it is clear that they cannot honour the contract in the first place.

So the rest of my MTN contract will follow soon. I'm just doing some shopping.

OK... just to update. Kabelo phone me and to make a long story short, I agreed that he can stop/reverse my cancellation request on condition that MTN credit the out of bundle spent. Gertrude then phoned a few days later to confirm that the cancelation was stopped and that the credit does show on our account. I will consider changing my rating once I see our next statement.
