Upgrade Woes via Velociti

<p>"Cold called" by a MTN partner (Velociti) regarding upgrading my MTN contracts. Initially decided on an iPhone 6 for the one contract but changed my mind and called back within a few minutes and requested iPhone SE. They did not have stock but called me back the following day stating that they had in fact just received stock of a 15Gb iPhone SE and reserved a device for me stating that they'd schedule delivery for both devices on the two contracts being upgraded. Today (a week later) I get another call from Velociti stating that they have cancelled the my upgrade due to not having stock of the iPhone SE, but that I should now go to a MTN store outlet and that I will be able to obtain the iPhone SE in-store. Being suspicious I downloaded the latest Yello Trader and discovered that MTN have hiked their contract prices quite significantly since last week, thus confirming my suspicion for Velociti's sudden "lack of stock" after confirmation that they had received stock. I wanted to leave MTN prior to my previous upgrade due to their poor service, but succumbed to their pleads and upgraded. Thanks to their pricing and 3rd party partner service, I do not think they will succeed this time. Thankfully all 3 my MTN contracts have run their full term and I am now free to bid them farewell after 15 years! The irony is if Velociti did not phone me I would have probably kept running my expired contracts on a month-to-month basis. Thanks to you also, Velociti! </p>
