Upgrade of my contract without my permission
<p>Last month I noticed that my mtn contract payment has increased by R100 (via monthly debit order). On Monday I went to an mtn store to enquire about this increase of my Debit Order, and also to upgrade my contract only to find out my contract was "already upgraded" in May. How is that possible? How could mtn just upgrade my contract without my permisson, signature or copy of my ID. This is ****************. And they also said they sent me a phone. Dont trust MTN. I have tried on so many occasions to make contact with them and get some answers, but no one is helping me. they told me to go get an affidavit. Why should I run after them, while they are the ones who did not follow procedure by upgrading my contract without my signature or ID.</p>

Kindly be advised that a ********** query has been logged ref no:REQ:*** due to no certified copy of ID and affidavit attached it will be declined.
Kindly email us certified copy of ID and affidavit specifying that you didnt upgrade your contract will then log an urgent request to our ***** department to investigate and resolve your query accordingly.

This response is totally unacceptable. You show me that you followed procedure and obtained a signature and ID copy from "someone", and I will gladly go get an affidavit. You are in the wrong here, why should I be the one running after you???I am opening up case against you at the Ombudsman and ICASA because you are trying to ***** money from me and did not follow upgrading procedures.

In the ombudsman investigations, they will actually see that you did not receive any documentation but you still updgraded a contract. Otherwise you would have provided it to me by now.
