UPGRADE NIGHTMARE!!!!

I upgraded my device last week and received the phone on Tuesday, 11 September 2018. As soon as i received my phone, i attempted to switch it on. The phone did not power on at all. I charged it for a while an reattempted to switch on to no avail. I then contacted the MTN Direct number on the same day FIVE TIMES!

Every interaction was non-productive! I was first told that the person, Christopher, would call me back as he was the one that did my upgrade. Then after I did not receive a call from Christopher, i called back and was told that I they will relay the message to him. Third time i call back, i am told to go to an MTN store for the staff to look at the device and send it back to the head office if the phone is still faulty.

I went in to the MTN store and there without even a glance i was told to go to either the Waterfront or to Cavenish Mall to have them look at my phone! SERIOUSLY???

I CALLED BACK... AGAINNNN and then i was advised that they will again tell Christopher to call me back and that the supervisor will be cc'd in the mail and guess what??? Still no call from Christopher!

Wednesday i call back asking for a supervisor at that stage and as much as Angelique tried to de-escalate, she insisted on not putting me through to a supervisor. She made me give my ID number and then she told me the supervisor is busy. I insisted to talk to a supervisor and against my wishes, guess what??.. She puts me through to Christopher who promises high and low that the device will be collected from me by the courier and that i will get a new device once its back in stock. I'm also still waiting on the email he was supposedly sending me to ensure that i can email him once the device is collected. As much as I want to wait longer for someone to actually help me with my problem, I am tired of getting the run around with something i am going to be paying for for 24 months.

What are you going to do about this? This is seriously messed up!
