Upgrade mishap

Went to Mosselbay Mall Mtn to upgrade. Was told its franchise and must pay R1000 for early upgrade but the consultant told me if i go to George the upgrade is free. Drove to George 100km far and just to be told they can not do upgrade as it is a system error and my number was migrated the new system. This after receiving sms confirmation that i can upgrade. Would like to be compensated for my time and fuel as this is Mtn mistake and want to be upgraded.
