Upgrade at MTN not the no 1 network provider anymore

On 6 July 2023 I went to MTN Vryburg store to upgrade two contracts. One was approved the other one declined for short fall on credit limit of R40. Consultant requested increase of credit limit on the same day. Was in store on 8 July 2023 to find out why no feedback is received. According to the consultant working in the back office told me that i can only do sim upgrade to the remaining contract that is still outstanding for upgrade and that i am not entitle to a full upgrade with handset. This is very disappointing because my first contract with MTN was activated in 1995.

This a bad experience and disappointment. MTN service to customer care not up to standard and they are discriminating against certain customers.
