Updating ANY kind of information IMPOSSIBLE

Upgraded 2 contracts within roughly the last 4 months; 1 in-store & the other via MTN Direct. Handset contract previously with Nashua Mobile, now MTN; tablet always with MTN directly. Both times, expressly mentioned that my credit card has been replaced & asked that the information be updated: Assurance given! The tablet payment date to be moved to the 1st of every month, instead of the last: Confirmation received. <br> End March & payment for the tablet is returned, obviously, as the card has expired. Handset payment successfully processed. I received a sms-notification & the battle begins.<br> Forget about EVER being able to connect with 808 Customer Care; 50 min wait to then be abruptly cut-off. Trip down to the local MTN Store, 35-minute wait to actually speak to an assistant. Details apparently now correct on both accounts.<br> Obviously in arrears with the tablet account; now being threatened with legal action and full service suspension. Out of principle I shall not make a trip to ABSA to deposit the money, nor make an EFT-payment, until MTN can actually bother to contact ME, instead of me, having to spend hours trying to contact them!
