unwanted subscriptions MTN

I am getting unwanted subscription advice from MTN , the first SMS received today saying I am subscribed to Candypop at R3.03 per day, and the other that I am subscribed to Hooked on MTN Dating at R3.03 per day. Both these services have not been requested by myself and numerous calls and a lot of wasted time have still not ended receipt of these embarrassing SMS's. please take it up with MTN and request that these are stopped immediately. thank you J du Preez

Good day Johannes,

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns and affording us the opportunity to address the same. Kindly accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Please note that there are different content charges. One way of removing them is by dialing *136# and follow the MTN play option until you get to manage subscriptions. The second way to remove the said charge is by logging on to your browser from your device. I have attached the below instructions in order to remove the charge:

Q - How do I cancel a subscription?
Visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ category under ‘My MTN Play’ at WWW.MTNPLAY.CO.ZA on your mobile device. Select the subscription and deactivate.

Kind regards,

Ishie.

Complaints Management Team.

Best regards,

JP
