Yesterday, when I found my airtime very low, I looked through my SMSs. I found two from 28 April which were suspect. As usual, I had ignored them as JUNK because they welcomed me to an "adult" site. The SMSs also informed how to cancel/unsubscribe. However, I refuse to unsubscribe from something to which I have not subscribed in the first place. The "help" I received over the phone yesterday and in the shop today did not meet my requirements: I want MTN to see to it that I become unsubscribed WITHOUT using my phone AND that they give back the airtime which they GAVE to a third party. The legal questions are: 1. How can I be subscribed for a service without knowing it? 2. Who gave MTN the right to take my airtime and give it to a third party without my permission?
