Unsatisfactory service

I got an uncapped router with them which only worked for 36 hours max. When calling their call centre to query what’s happening I am told the towers in my area are down, which no checks were done by the consultant when assisting with the application. When I called to cancel I was told to take it to my nearest MTN store. 1 at store said they offline 2nd store told me they can’t take it back as the application wasn’t done with them. How hard can it be to cancel what is meant to be a month to month contract???
