Unresolved issue with MTN

Here's a review based on a friend’s story:

I had a frustrating experience with MTN. After paying off the full amount for my phone, which was originally bought on a 36-month plan with monthly debit orders that were later stopped, I expected a smooth reconnection process. Instead, despite sending proof of payment, my network remained blocked, limiting my phone use to Wi-Fi only.

The customer support has been unhelpful, with repeated promises to resolve the issue within specific timeframes that weren't met. Being bounced between the branch and collections department has added to the frustration.

The issue seems straightforward – reconnect my network – but it's been dragging on for months. I'm disappointed in the service and would caution others to be aware of potential issues with MTN's customer support and billing processes.
