Unresolved Billing Dispute active from March 2026 till.present

MTN Billing Dispute: Ignoring Formal Queries and Continuing Automated Payment Demands (BA***)Review Body TextI am publishing this review to escalate an unresolved billing dispute with MTN regarding my account (Billing ***), as the complaints department has completely failed to provide a ledger reconciliation while automated systems continue to demand unverified funds. On 6 June 2026, I made a manual payment of R486.57 in-store to successfully restore suspended services. Despite this, I received an automated SMS stating that MTN has "not received payment" and demanding an additional R452.99 via a payat.io link. This automated collection cycle is ignoring my active, formal query sent directly to MTN's complaints team (Attention: Grant).I have formally placed on record the following timeline of successful payments made to this account:January 2026: Successful debit order collection of R538.39February 2026: Successful debit order collection of R538.3921 March 2026: Successful debit order collection of R468.00Post-March 2026: An ad-hoc request of R333.99 was made outside my agreed debit date, followed by an additional manual payment of R350.00 upon an unfair service suspension.6 June 2026: In-store payment of R486.57.Furthermore, my February 2026 invoice displays double-billing for the same subscription profile, reflecting two completely separate "Mobile Internet Ruby" charges: one for R260.00 (Excl. VAT) and another for R281.73 (Excl. VAT).MTN has failed to explain which specific payment they claim was missed to accumulate the alleged outstanding balances. They have also failed to clarify why double subscription charges are appearing on a single invoice.Required Resolution:I require a senior billing manager to pause automated SMS payment demands and provide me with a formal, written response detailing:A complete, line-by-line account ledger from January 2026 to June 2026 displaying all invoices raised, debit collections, rejections, and manual allocations.A comprehensive explanation regarding the double "Mobile Internet Ruby" charges app**** in February 2026.Written validation of my current real-time balance and next scheduled bill cycle date following the R486.57 payment.
