Unreasonable, unrespectful & a waste of space

My iphone 6 has a problem connecting to the network. I have tried almost everything to get it fixed but to no avail.

I decided to hand it in at the MTN store where i had my contract renewed, MTN Wesbank campus in Fairland.

The agent, Charl Louw took the phone and gave me a bunch of papers and asked me to sign it. Nothing was explained like the T's & C's or possible charges.

I told Charl that i'm pretty sure that the phone is still within it's warranty period. He didn't bother to check if it was. Poor service on his side.

A week or so later i received an sms advising that it will cost R 6,230.00 to repair the phone or R 330.00 if i ejected the quote.

i couldn't take it up with MTN as i was out of the country. When i returned i questioned the charges and was told by Charl that he said to me that there are T's & C's.

i was angry and asked to speak to a supervisor. He gave me a number, ***. I spoke to Lerato, couldn't help me and then she transfered me to Danny or Daniel. I pleaded and asked for the repair charge to be waived as the phone was only 25 days out of it's warranty (which Charl only provivded when i enquired why the excessive charge). I was told that there is no negotiating the repair charge. It is what it is. If i do not want to pay the charge then i'm liable for the R 330.00 fee.

Today (***2) i went back to the MTN store and requested the same from them. I pleaded with Charl and he refused to help saying that the technical dept. makes the final decision and they cannot over turn it or refer it.

I asked to peak to his supervisor. She didn't introduce herself. While i spoke to her she wouldn't make eye contact and only looked at Charl. When i would finish she would ask Charl what the client (Me) wants to have done about the situation. Not once did she acknowledge me while i was speaking to her.
