Unprofessional upgrade takes a month
My husband has a few contracts with mtn, one of the numbers was due in April.. So we chose the package for R199 for 40gb, we did an upgrade on the 1st of April, through the store. Only to find out that payment is first due before the upgrade could be captured... So I did the payment, as required... Only to find out this past week that Thandeka Ndlovu have canceled the contract, instead of updrading the contract as discussed with her. Thandeka and her colleague argued over the phone, hubby and I could hear how they argued, she said she was sorry... But why do it in front of us... Over the phone. I was told by Thandeka to submit hubby's ID, latest pay slip and 3 months bank statement... We did all that. Only when we followed up in the Grahamstown store... That Thandeka canceled the upgrade, without informing us, and now it's May... I won't qualify for that specific special due to Thandeka's unprofessional manner in which she dealt with this query... The store manager in Grahamstown has been so amazing into helping us, and I applaud her for that.
This is really horrible service and I honestly feel like canceling all future contracts, and upgrades with mtn... Since this always happens when I upgrade. So many stories from mtn online, and one never gets calls about the progress of the upgrades.
Thandeka should start doing her job right and not accuse us (the customers) or her colleague of lying. Because leachima did exactly what we asked her to do. And now I won't qualify for the package due to the fact that it's May now... And not April anymore..
We wanted the upgrade... Did it really have to take a month for an upgrade to be processed...???
