Unhappy with service of MTN

I was as MTN Wonderboom Junction(13/04/2026). They said I must call customer care to reactivte my simcard (prepaid). Called them and they told me my number has been alocated to another person. I had this number for more than 25 years. My number has been hacked and they said I must not use the number until it is rerolved.

Now it is resolved and a number for 25 years plus has now been alocated to another person. And they can't help me to give my number back. Got the affidavit to proof my number was hacked.

I found it unprofessional and bad for the network. Never had problems with them and now my number is gone according to them.

I still have whatsapp on the number. Wich is puzzeling me.
