Unhappy MTN Customer for the last 9 years

I have two contracts with MTN and I have experienced the worst service on both contracts in the last week. The first contract phone was ****** in Kenya as I am based between Kenya and South Africa. I sent through my claim form to pinnacle marketing specifically to Megan Hope whom I informed that I would like my issue resolved as soon as possible as I am travelling again. The last email I got from her was asking me what mobile number was used in the phone as the registered number was last used in April 2016. I informed her that I am based between the two countries and that I would like for them to send me the clause stating that the line, simcard and device are insured separately. What is frustrating is that MTN has been deducting insurance every month and when it is time to replace the phone I am experiencing such a headache in getting my claim processed. And I am not quite sure what that means about the simcard, so does this mean that if one travels alot for work they have to use the MTN sim card even though it doesn't allow one to make international calls without uploading airtime which becomes very expensive when roaming.

With the second contract is for my younger sister, whom was due for an upgrade and she opted for the Samsung S7 edge which was meant to come with the tablet. Siya from MTN Randburg CBD informed her that they didn't have stockand that they didnt know when next they would have stock basically implying that she had no choice but to take the phone as she needed a new phone quite urgently. What surprised me is that I went to inquire from him why they still haven't provided her with the tablet and he said because she opted to take the phone then she couldnt get the tablet and besides that they didnt have any tablets in stock. I then went on to ask him to provide me with a statement for the particular contract as I wanted to ensure I was not paying for something I didn't have. After going through the statement I noticed that I was being charged R679pm which is the same amount as if she had the tablet upon asking him this he went on to tell me the prices that are featured in the MTN magazine are exclusive of VAT. Upon further analysis of my statement at home I noticed that there was no contract in the magazine showing contract amount R595.61pm exclusive of VAT. All the contracts for S7 edge are R629,R639,R649 therefore implying that MTN is charging for a tablet that I do not have. To add insult to injury he was very rude which I didn't appreciate.

I am extremely disappointed with this service considering I have been an MTN customer for the last 9years. I urgently need a response to these issues as I will be travelling tomorrow. Hellopeter please help!!!

Thank You.
