Unhappy MTN Customer!

Im disappointed with the service that i getting from MTN Wonderpark***)
my problems started when i wanted a contract with MTN. we filled in the necessary paper work and gave them the required documents for the contract to be processed and order the phone i wanted. after i have followed up on the phone that is when i got the phone, a week later i got a call the store instructing me to return the phone
because there was a problem with my phone number. they kept the phone for good 2 weeks eventually after i complained through Hello Peter the mater was resolved i got my phone back. 8 months i have the phone, the device is getting hot and the battery dont last. i went to the store about the issue i was told that i needed to go to Apple Store in Menlyn to have it fixed, i got there i was told i needed to take it back to when i have boght it since its still under warranty. i took it to MTN Wonderpark again and they took it for repairs on 01/04/2016. 2 weeks later i get an sms saying that the quote for the repairs is R6000.00 and should i decline the quote i need to pay in R330.00. i then contacted the store and they said they are going to look into the matter and get back to me but the never get back at instead im the one who does constant follow ups with them. i then decided to call the number where the sms is from i was told that the phone had water damage, i told them the phone was never exposed to any liquids since i had it and they simply told that if i dont pay im not getting the phone back. im now paying for the services that im not using and im paying for a phone that i dont have.i am very unsatisfied with MTN and i cant wait to get out of the contract and join the other networks. till today the issue is not resolved. i will not recommend anyone to use MTN services nor refer anyone to MTN. totally poor service.
Today i managed to get the store email address, i have sent them an email with my concerns and they telling me that it is their cumpany policy to not attend to liquid damage or physical damage. i understand that but i still maintain that the phone was not exposed to any form of liquid in my posetion.

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.

There is a quote rejection fee of R330.00 incl. vat applicable when the repair quotation is rejected by client or the quote has expired. This is a standard business rule.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We do look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards

Nompumelelo

sadly today still I don't have my phone back after having to pay R330 for declining the repair quotation. today it marks 2 months since my phone went in and im paying for the services that im not using. no one bothers themselves to give me feedback on what's going on. 2 times I went to the store to find out on when am I getting my phone back after numerous phone calls. I still maintain that I haven't exposed the phone in any form of liquids, should there be traces of liquids as MTN claims then it must have been at the store initially when they kept asking for the phone back at the beginning of the contract. Apple should know that their business associates simply don't care about their brand. I strongly don't advice anyone to do business MTN.
