Unhappy!

MTN does your right hand know what your left hand is doing? My wife and I both use prepaid sims, RICA'd to me. Yesterday out of the blue my wife's number stops working and she is informed that her sim card has been "Rica Barred" On phoning the call centre the person I was talking to told me she has "to escalate" this, and she will call me back. Well I'm still waiting for that call. Nevertheless my wife went to the MTN store at Meadowdale shopping centre this morning, only to be served by less than helpful staff and simply told her number gas been issued to someone else. Really? After her number was working perfectly yesterday until it wasn't. Off she went to a different store and was helped by much friendlier staff, who suggested they try and RICA the sim card again. They did the RICA and it worked and now my wife has her number back. MTN RICA'ing properly is very important and I fully stand by that, but I think you are randomly trying to **** people off. My wife's number like so many others out there, is used for business purposes, such as bank OTP numbers etc. You need to seriously reconsider when and how you abruptly cut peoples phone lines. If you are going to tell me it was a system glitch, then I'm going to tell you, see how well a "system glitch" worked for Discovery earlier this year...
