Unfair service MTN Woodlands Boulevard Shopping Center

I visited the MTN Woodlands Boulevard Shopping Centre on Friday 20th January 2017 to apply for the 50G promotion. Upon arrival at the MTN I was assisted by a gentlemen named Tumi, I specifically told the gentlemen I would like to apply for the 50G promotion package with any device. He advised that they only have the Samsung galaxy grand prime plus in stock, I told the gentlemen that this should be fine as I am only interested in the promotion package I already have an existing contract with MTN for the past 6 years. We proceeded to make the application, I the received an SMS stating that my application has been submitted for review. He advised that when I receive the second SMS I should come in to the store to finalize my application. I received another SMS on the 24th of January 2017 stating that my application has been approved. I went to visit the store again on the 24th of January 2017 I was assisted by another gentlemen he advised that the application has not yet been sent back to them yet they should receive on the 25th of January 2017 as it takes 24 hour to show on their side. I then went back to the store on the 25th of January 2017, they began to process my application I was advised that the package I selected does not qualify for the 50G promotion as it is a 3 year contract. I told the gentlemen that I did not request a 3 year contract I specifically said "I would like to apply for the 50G promotion" I was told there’s nothing they can do they are sorry I will have to wait for the next promotion.

It saddens me to be writing again as i had faith that this issue is resolved, a week later after i logged this complaint i recieve a call from the Woodlands store manager stating that they have submitted my application again for the 50G promotion and it has been approved i should come to the store. I left work drove to the store in question asked Mario Breedy to see the manager about the contract he told me he would be able to assist me. I clearly indicated to him that this is about the 50G promotion and told him about the incident that happened before. I told him i would like to change the device to Hauwei P8 Lite and he advised that it wouldn't be a problem. I then asked him again will i still get the 50G, he assured me that i will still get the 50G promotion. He printed the contract and presented to me and again i asked him if i will get the 50G promotion. I then signed the contract i was give the device and the sim. When i got home i checked the balance the was no data, i called MTN to enquire about promotion data i was adviced it will be available in 24 to 48 hours(I believe all calls are recorded). Next day i receive 30G i inserted the sim in my router believe the 50G would follow. The 50G did not follow i called to enquire about the data i was adviced that the package i took does not qualify for the promotion data and i need to contact the branch where i took the contract. Disspointed yet again and furious i went to the store the manager in question was not available. I left my details and was advised that the manager would be in contact with me on the 22nd February 2017. 22nd February 2017 i receive a call from Kevin at the store he tells me the contract i signed does not qualify for the promotion the is nothing they can do. I asked to speak to the manager i was put through to a different manager and i explain the incident from the begining she tells me aswell i signed the contract i have to wait for 20months. I believe this is really unfair as clearly everyone knows what i wanted and i was given something which i did not request for. Please advise as i feel that i should escalate this matter to the the ombudsman.
