UNEXPLAINED BILLING AMOUTNS

I had upgraded my contract to anytime 100minutes. They dealer told me that I just needed to buy minutes and topup once the contract 100minutes expired. My new Xperia Z3 has a app called myMTNza which allows me to by anytime minutes and data bundles and amt deducted from my linked account. Now i look at my balance in MTNselfactive and I see an amount of R3300. my last month bill came to R1898, when all that time I have been purchasing minutes. i went to mtn store and they tell me mine is not a top up contract and and i wont be able to make calls once minutes expired. i was getting charged out bundle rates but once my 100 mins finished, i was still able to load more mins and make calls. I dont understand. All i know is Mtn is deducting huge amounts which are not even invoiced correctly. MTN store cudnt tell me where the extra charges come from. Is this what MTN services is these days? I have been a loyal customer for 14 years and I do not need to be dealing with nonsense like this now.

Hello Harry31,

Thank you for your post.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.

Kindly note that you are billed for the extra minutes that you buy on line. In May, you were billed R 280.72 for wholesale data. In June you were billed R179.83. When buying the free minutes they are added on your account as they are not bought with your own airtime.

In May there are also promo fees for R407.02. These are the handset fees as the handset taken was not part of the package taken.

Content charges for R131.70, these are charges when downloading on Waspa content.
International charges for R 110.86.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards
Lungi
