With regards to your reply to my previous complaint. Your subscriber contract might give you the right to increase tariffs as you please (I'd still like to know what the consumer board would make of this regarding a fair contract), but it also states MTN must give the subscriber written notice of such action and the date it will be implemented. Yet I received no written notice from MTN regarding the increase. In the 17 years I've been a customer with MTN this has never happened before. I find it odd that you will persevere with this attitude to make a few extra rand of me in the last months of my contracts vs my continued support which you have now lost. I'm counting the days to the end of my existing 3 contracts expiry dates. Was thinking of taking some other contracts with MTN but definitely won't now. Also very interesting that the opposition's offer of contract buy out deals with guaranteed rates for 24 months doesn't appear to bother MTN in the least bit. The two links you have sent me in your reply is totally useless to me and your apology - well actions speak louder than words. The complaints on MTN's Facebook page & Hellopeter also doesn't appear to bother MTN in the least.
Best regards,
