********* behavior from mtn and it goes without saying their obvious lack of customer service !!

i signed a fixed contract with mtn I am on a family top up (so there should be no extra cost monthly) but obviously with mtn they do as they please

i usually pay R509 per month im due for an upgrade on the 26th of June. This month mtn decided to debit R900 off my account for no reason - since no changes were made and no extras have been added on to this contract

ive phoned mtn nicolway branch twice i havent heard back from them ( one on the 4th of june and one on the 6th of june) i also phoned call centre on the 4 th of june

i havent heard back from any of these people or calls i made

this is ridiculous and i want you to refund me this months payment!!! Your making it super easy for me to not upgrade in june if your service is so poor i might as well move to another service provider - treating customers like this is not right and doing what you did this month woth deducting more off my account is *********

if this is not resolved this week I WILL MOVE To another service provider and i will ask the bank to cancelle and withdraw my debit order for last month - and i will make sure that i tell my family who is also due within the next month to join my party and move with me

Good day Charlise,

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it has caused.

Kindly be advised that the system shows that the additional charges incurred are due to the customer swap request that was processed on 2016-04-21 which was a once off charge. The Subscriber Usage Limit is still capped at R0.00. The balance for the invoice dated 2016-06-11 is R 509.00.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you and to restore your faith in us.

Regards,
Ayanda

Yes after once again phoning MTN because you obviously never get back toyour cutomers (after two weeks)

First of all the lady told me i must becarefull not going over my minutes - please train your employees that they know whats going on . If you are ona family top up u CANT go over the allocated minutes and data

Second of all i changed my banking details - NOBODY ever told me there was going to be ANY charges for this - otherwise i would have left it as is . Also isint it stipuliated by law that if there is a fee charged or change in payments and a contract is singed that the customer must get a copy of this document ? I went into Nicolway branch changed my banking details and i never heard of any charges for changing of details and i also never received any documents to prove that this will be a payment !!

And what absolutely disgusts me the MOST is how can you charge people to change their banking details - we are PAYING CUSTOMERS .. i had to take time off work and go into a store and change my details . I should be charging you money how much effort is it to actually get things done through MTN

I WILL NOT pay that banking mee and if your telling me to change banking details cost me R350 thats is complete bull**** and so ********* and such a ******* .. Is almost a months payments for a phone??

RESOLVE this TODAY

i am due for an upgrade already - i will be closing my account TOMMOROW and moving to vodacom if you dont sort this out - its absolutely shamefull that you can pride yourself in taking money from people in such an sly and incorrect manner

And note if you dont sort this out and refund me i wont only be moving but i will reverse my last payment for MTN at my bank and you will not receive this payment from me .. My mother and sister are also both due for an upgrade i will tell them to join me in rant to make sure MTN does not receive another cent (****** cent) from us
