Underhanded RewardsCo and MTN

First off I want to implore to everyone never to do any business with MTN and RewardsCo even if they are calling on behalf of another company (In my case MTN)

RewardsCo is a callcentre and the idiots that work in those call centres will do anything to get a sale out of you ... lie to you ... sell you things that you do not need by lying to you.

1) RewardsCo called me and told me that I have to go on a new contract for my phone or MTN will cut it off. Even if I did not want a new phone at the time. They told me that after the upgrade if I wanted to get a new phone then they will reset the contract and I can get a new phone with a new contract. Well, I had to pay a penalty to terminate my current contract to take a new contract.

2) This fool from RewardsCo called me and told me that I can get a new contract for my mobile Mifi contract and they will send a new Mifi router and sim card and then cancel the other Mifi contract I had and for R50 more I get double the bandwidth ie, 200Gig/month. Guess what they did not cancel the other contract and now I sit with 2x Mifi contracts until the other contract expires in November after which I have to cancel it myself.

3) Then another fool calls me and told me I can upgrade my original Mifi contract (for cheaper and more bandwidth than the new contract I got) He told me that the people at RewardsCo are underhanded and ****s and they will do anything to get a sale.

So I implore you --- do not deal with MTN and RewardsCo on these spam calls. They are cheats, underhanded, and should be confronted about their underhandedness and with a hefty fine.
