Undelivered cellphone

After the last time I wrote a review, Mtn send two contradicting messages. The fist message reads as follows: "Dear Customer, Your query *** has been closed. Please contact call center if you require more information. Thank you for using MTN. Have a Y'ello day." The second message via email reads as follows: "I hereby acknowledge the receipt of your email.

Kindly note your request has been escalated to the sales team for further assistance, you may follow up with them at *** or by calling Rewardsco ***.

We apologize any inconvenience incurred and the delayed response".

I am grossly disappointed by the poor service and lack of leadership from Mtn. The cellphone contract deal was approved, why are they not delivering it to me? I am going to pay for the cellphone, it's not like they are doing me any favour. How did they close my query while I have not received the cellphone?
