Uncapped Data Bundle capped at 150mb
I purchased an uncapped daily data bundle through MTN mid January. After downloading several large files, I received an sms saying that I had reached my 150mb fair usage limit. After that, I received an sms saying that I had used data at an out of bundle rate. <br> <br> To be clear, MTN has a daily data bundle for 300mb. This is cheaper than the uncapped and isn't capped at 150mb. <br> <br> I have since been charged with near R2000 on my account, and I've had to go back and forth several times to get answers. The answer being the cap on the uncapped data bundle. <br> <br> To just get across that I had a data bundle active was a nightmare, and a resolution is no where in sight. My service has been deactivated once already while I hold back on paying the ridiculous fee of R2000. <br> <br> <br> <br>

Kindly be advised that the 1 day uncapped service lasts for 24 hours once activated. A fair usage policy of 150MB will however apply, after you hit the 150MB mark your speed get throttled to 128kbps for the remainder of the 24hrs. Please also note that the bundle loaded on the 2016-01-05 was not activated and is still available for use this bundle will expire on the 2016-03-05 if not used. The charges for the invoice dated 2016-01-11 are for Packet switched data calls. Please feel free to contact us on 808 should you require additional information.
