Uncapped bundles

Hi, yesterday around 15:00 pm i bought Mtn uncapped data for R 40.00 so i started upgrading my antivirus , to my surprise i received a text message from Mtn staiting that i have reached my 150Mb of internet fair usage. Now from then i have been unable to update my phone and my PC as this useless bundles were initially intended for updating my devices, never mind the fact that ever since that text i have been unable to use the internet effectively at all. My question is, why does Mtn claim uncapped bundles when they know very well that they will limit your usage to the 150MB ? why does Mtn allow its customers to waste money on something they have failed to provide yet they are still selling? if Mtn cannot provide uncapped bundles they shouldn't even claim uncapped on failing bundles. we know uncapped we have used uncapped Wifi and we know it gets disturbed when there are too many devices and that too can be increased by the service provider,so Mtn apart from taking our airtime daily for no reason, expensive non-lasting data, you have created yet another money making **** taking our R 40.00 for absolutely nothing. and as i type this my phone is still not upgraded i could only mange to upgrade 5 apps with low MB and my PC is still not upgraded how wonderful. I am very disappointed in you guys i have used Mtn for over 10 years and it keeps getting bad . just like in December when i received a text claiming i have been rewarded with R 50.00 for buying bundles, i never received that R 50.00 airtime and i called and was told it will be sorted till today 06.01.2018 i haven't heard a word from Mtn but i kept quiet this i too much we work for money Mtn it does not grow on trees. In fact even the fact that the airtime i buy with my own points all of a sudden only calls Mtn numbers.those are my points earned from me being loyal to your network, yet i am limited as to how i can use the airtime?and if i had an emergency it will be pointless to even consider the stupid points. where is your loyalty Mtn. You keep receiving what are you giving to customers in return? R 55.00 mtn to mtn calls for 1 day? what use is it really? how many people actually use that R 55.00 till it is depleted? so sad?

Good day Elizabeth

Thank you for your post.

We apologize for the inconveniences that you have experienced. We completely understand the frustration it causes.

MTN’s Terms and Conditions state that the fair usage policy for the bundle is 150MB. Once this limit is reached, speeds are throttled to 128kbps. That is the reason you were sent the message, it just means that your download speed is reduced.
