Unauthorised Removal of Funds

My contract is for R209 per month for 3GB data. The following amounts were removed without authority from my ***.40; 459.00; 459.00; 459.00; 459.00; 459.00; 708.99; After complaining on Hellopeter, a person from accounts made a very lame excuse about exceeding data allowance. We all know the service gets cut when you reach your limit. During the month of November 2017 I had my router switched on but didn't use the data. It all vanished and I had to top up with a further R200.00 On the 11th August 2018 I bought 1gb data which lasted ten minutes. The next day I bought another 1GB which vanished without any use. This service borders on ******** behaviour and judging by all the similar complaints, would be shut down in any other country

Dear Ishie Many thanks. However, the debit order did go through at the right time (7th September) and it was for R460.83 instead of the authorised R209. It was reversed because I was able to get the bank to intercept the payment in time. You don't explain the reason for vanishing data, either. This is a very common complaint in HelloPeter. Last year during June, July and August, I was away in UK with my router switched off and still your accounts removed R459 for each of these months. Sincerely Martin Gee
