UNAUTHORISED DEBIT ORDER
I am writing this out of desperate frustration with this company. 2 months ago upgraded my contract with MTN direct with a person called Joshua Wemberg. He promised me a contract paying R279.00, i asked him twice if this was the total amount i would pay and he said yes. I was them debited R434.00, i did not query as i thought it was the first month, i then got billed this amount again. I have tried calling MTN direct for 2 days and i have been asked to go from department to department and no one knows anything except that insurance has been added. How did insurance get added without my permission and how did they get my bank details to debit my account. I have left messages for Joshua to call me which he has not as yet. I cannot affort this amount and would like them to come pick up this phone. MTN are nothing but a bunch of *******.

I trust you are well. I have been following up with MTN since this post and have been corresponding with a very helpful lady by the name of Luzette Willemse regarding this. The number that i have is a recycled number from cartrack and they kept the insurance on this number that cartrack had, I was promised i would be refunded this money to my bank and it was unauthorised. However i just called #135 now and they have informed me that this amount has been credited to my MTN account which i do not want, I would like my money back please. On top of that they have still taken the initial amount R434.00 of this amount that needs to be credited to me as i stopped the debit order... but i did a payment of R279.00 which should be my total amount payable every month, this means i have now been billed over R700.00 in total for the last month. Please i need this to be resolved or kindly just cancell this contract and I will return the phone. MTN is to much of trouble.

22 Jul 2019, 13:40 Good day Avita The bank refund was requested and sent to the banking division. They have requested POP for the payment which was made from your account. I believe this is the reason why it is taking longer. The banking division does not process any refunds with pop. Not sure if you have any proof from your side.
