unacceptable service
My phone was ******. Naturally I called into the call centre to block my phone before it gets misused. An agent named Tho bile tells me I need an IMEI number. I told her I am unable to provide one since I am nowhere near home. What I don't understand is I've been a loyal customer to this service provider and yet they unable to assist with what I deem a simple request. Should any crime be done with my phone or number who then will take the blame? Porting will be my next action as being loyal doesn't hold any merit to this so called GOOD provider.

I am very unhappy about this. Goodbye MTN.

21 Oct 2015, 14:34Hello phoshky,
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the breakdown in service experienced.
Our agents in our prepaid call centre are able to suspend your SIM card when you report the matter, however in order to for the device to be blacklisted, we will need for you to provide us with the IMEI of the device to ensure that we blacklist the correct handset.
Regards
Tim
