Unacceptable

I really dont understand why Im paying for a business contract for over R600 to be informed that my data bundle and minutes expire.

Every month my data would expire and when I contacted MTN, all they told me is that I need to wait for my statement and see what is happening. The statement does not reflect anything about minutes or data expiring.

Day before yesterday I received an sms stating the "your data bundle will expire in the next 48 hours" but within 3 hours 268MB of data dissappeared.

I contactec MTN Business support and I was told that they could not assist me and that I would have to wait for the billing cycle to be complete and then call in again and log a call. WHAT A LOAD OF CROCK

I infomred them that I use my cellphone on a permanent basis for work and how the hell am I going to attend to my e-mails. And was told that I should but more data... WHAT THE ****.... I should buy more data and then only to have it expire within a coulple of days.

Why are we so complacent and just accept being **********.... Why should we pay a **** load of money for a contract and data, for it to expire... should data even expire. if we have to pay for it???

This is outrageous and unacceptable.

Good Day,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Kindly note that according to our Business Rules Data bundles expire in 30 days and Airtime expires in 60 days. MTN reserves the right to make changes to the minutes and bundles expiry dates and this is written on the Terms and Conditions of an MTN contract which is signed by a customer before a contract is opened.

Rest assured that it is not our intention to displease you and we look forward to continue improving on our service delivery to you.

Kind Regards
Itumeleng

Best regards,

Hi Itumeleng

When I signed up the contract the consultant did not inform me nir was this on your brochure. Tue contract stated 100 mins airtime 500 mb data per month abd nothing stating that it will expire.

I was informed thst unused data and airime will be carried over.

If this is the case then we are as customers heing **********. Why should our data and airtime expire if we are paying for it. Its like saying if we bought clothing on account and we havent used the item then we need to return it without a refund.

Im still not satisfied! This is a total *******!
