UNABLE TO PORT TO MTN
Good Afternoon

My husband was with MTN and ported to Cell C in 3hrs, he is now unhappy with Cell C service and ported back to MTN. In doing so yesterday morning he received 3 sms's confirming his approval with MTN and 3hrs later was barred Cell C. Followed the said porting protocol and called 555 but his number was inactive.

I called the call centre this morning spoke to Nkhentsane who said the Sim card is invalid as it was in store for 3mnths, he needs a new Sim card and must call the porting offices. Again I called the Call Centre cause it made no sense that you've ported with a specific number but you have to buy and use another number. I spoke to Anchada who said I needed to RICA the Sim again and dial 555 cause the system shows all is sorted except for the Sim card, I had the card RICA'd again and dialled 555 but nothing.

When I called the Call centre the 3rd time around was told their system is showing all is fine, I must now call the RICA and Porting department which only works during weekdays. My husband uses this only number, he works via cellphone and has no idea what to do and how he is going to work.

This is extreme poor service and needs to be sorted ASAP.
